Lucy 9 months old and in training

Major Accomplishment: To get that final 10th leg for our MX!

Annie was the second basset to have that honor.  And I have to admit being selected from the basset community to be featured on National Geographic's "Dog's With Job's" was an honor that I'll always cherish.   The program had never featured a basset before and when they heard that there were bassets doing agility, they asked who they should interview.  Annie's name came up repeatedly, and the next thing I knew we were on air!   Our pursuit of that MX title was aired nationwide in September of '02 and is still re-run today.

J.R. has entertained many a crowds during his agility career.  Most recall his 50 second teeter at the Clark County Fairgrounds.  But amazingly enough--he's still going strong and I hope to get his MXP by the time he retires.  Only 5 more to go!

Sasha's taken to agility like a kid in a candy store--she loves it!  She's a rescue and has some "issues" that we're working through but has done unbelievably well in just 8 months!

Lucy's just started training and loves the treats!

Agility/Breed Philosophy: I started doing agility with Annie 9 years ago to show people that bassets don't have to be couch potatoes.  They really can work and if given enough treats--love agility.  When people ask me, "when are you going to get a border collie?" My answer is always the same, "Why? There's no challenge there!"
